WINDHAM — The Music with a Mission concert series will feature Bellamy Jazz Band at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the North Windham Union Church, 723 Roosevelt Trail.

The group will perform its mix of traditional New Orleans and Chicago jazz and swing.

This award-winning eight-piece band has been together since 1981, playing a loose, jamming Chicago-style jazz ranging from Preservation Hall to early swing, standards, street parades and blues.

This concert is the 37th in the series. The church donates a portion of the proceeds to area nonprofits, and has raised over $38,000 for mission support to the church and other community organizations.

Proceeds from this concert will benefit Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors, which provides fuel assistance to those in need throughout the community.

Tickets cost $12 for adults and $10 for students, children and seniors. They’re available at the door. The box office opens at 6 p.m. and the doors open at 6:30 p.m.
