LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host the next seminar in its Mind Your Business, Business Development Series: Quitting the Day Job, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the chamber conference room, 415 Lisbon St.

Facilitator will be Tim Cyr. The workshop will review what to consider before putting down money to start a business.

Cyr has started and owned several successful businesses and had a couple of not-so-successful ventures. He has devoted a lifetime to being on his own as a business person. He is a founder of the Aspiring Entrepreneurs’ Guild and Advanced Computing Techniques.
