FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will present a Legislative Candidate Forum Breakfast in October.

The forum will be held from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the University of Maine at Farmington in the North Dining Hall. Featured speakers will include state Sen. Tom Saviello, Joanne Dunlap, Rep. Russell Black, Guy Iverson, Rep. Thomas Skolfield, Barbara Chassie, Lance Harvell, Scott Landry, Keith Cornelio and Christine Riley.

The chamber has asked the candidates to come prepared to speak about what they believe is the most critical topic facing Maine today and what should be done about it. The candidates will also be asked their opinions on MaineCare expansion and Maine’s income, sales and property taxes.

Glenn Kapiloff, Franklin County Chamber of Commerce president, will moderate the forum. Questions will be taken from the audience as time allows.
