AUBURN — Maine Citizens for Clean Elections will host an interactive candidates forum at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Titled Money, Politics and Maine, it will be held at the First Universalist Church, 169 Pleasant St.

The discussion will provide an opportunity for Mainers to learn about and discuss the role money plays in the political system, and the reforms that can amplify the voices of Maine voters in elections, according to organizers. Participants will learn how to be active advocates for a stronger, more representative democracy in Maine.

Local Clean Election candidates will take questions about their policies.

The forum is hosted by the Social Justice Committee at the First Universalist Church of Auburn. For more information, call 207-783-0461.
