KINGFIELD — Montessori preschool Maine Mountain Children’s House will host its third annual Harvest Festival from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Village Farm.

The community gathering will feature live music from Bread & Circus, horse-drawn wagon rides, sack races, mural painting, apple cider pressing, Maine brews, local food trucks and a photo contest.

“As with our community gardens, Harvest Festival brings together students, families and farmers to celebrate our beautiful home… with dancing instead of planting,” said Director Bethany Mahar.
