The GE3Ks, Portland’s newest 80s party band, will perform at Mixers Nightclub and Lounge, 136 Sabattus Road, Sabattus, Friday, Oct. 7, at 8:30 p.m. There is no cover charge. The GE3Ks (pronounced “geeks”) play the best of the 80s in a show that is different — way different — from the usual acts. Pop, dance, new wave, one-hit wonders, hard rock and rap — they do it all. Band members include Eric Hartmann, bass; Jay Staples; vocals; Jerry Perron, guitar; and Luc Bergeron, drums.
