RUMFORD — Magic and Fun with the Witches of 49 Franklin will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at 49 Franklin.
The witches will show youngsters how to celebrate the season with laughs and Halloween fun. Attendees can meet the witches as they assist with the event by providing face painting, crafts, dances and trick-or-treating. Witches will help local magician Scot Grassette weave interaction from the audience with help from Wacky Wanda.
Cindy Grassette has played Wacky Wanda for Hannaford in Rumford previously. She takes to the makeup and witch garb once again for this event so another generation can meet the character.
Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. The event will end by forming a conga line and trick-or-treating around the room. Costumes are encouraged.
Tickets are $6, and admission is free for those younger than 3. They are available at Bartash’s and All That Jazz in Rumford, or at 49franklin.com.
Those attending should enter at the first parking lot by the ramp.
