CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Stained-glass artist John Pease has invited new artist and friend Barry White to share exhibit space at the Carrabassett Valley Public Library & Community Center through October.
There will be a wine and cheese reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, in the Begin Family Community Room of the library.
Pease’s work includes traditional stained glass made with foil and lead solder, and as fused glass, where cut glass is laid out and fused in a kiln. His work is available for viewing on his Facebook page, “John Pease Stained Glass.” He may be reached by email at [email protected].
White is a self-taught artist who paints with watercolors and acrylics. His most recent works feature acrylic on panels. He’s interested in capturing the light and texture of panoramic and focused scenes.
