AUBURN — The Edward Little boys’ soccer team wrapped up the regular season with an 8-1 shellacking of Oxford Hills on Monday, clinching the top seed in the Class A North playoffs.

Jarod Norcross Plourde and Addi Dubai scored two goals apiece for the Red Eddies (11-2-1). Addi Dafe, Christian Beialvo, Michael Parschall and Brandon Asselin also scored for EL.

The Red Eddies will face Bangor (12-1-1) in the KVAC championship on Thursday.

Mt. Ararat 3, Mt. Blue 0

TOPSHAM — Kyle Brown scored twice to lead Mt. Ararat to a 3-0 boys’ soccer victory over Mt. Blue on Monday.

Max Valera also scored a goal for the Eagles, who improved to 12-2-0 win the win.

Eliot Bowie stopped three shots for the Cougars (2-9-3), and Tucker Carlton had six saves for Mt. Ararat.

Hall-Dale 5, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD — Hall-Dale scored three first-half goals off corner kicks in its 5-0 win over Dirigo in boys’ soccer action Monday.

Brendon McKenzie, Jett Boyer and John Whitcomb each found the net on a corner kick to give the Bulldogs (11-2-1) a 3-0 advantage at halftime.

Austin Stebbins and Jared Arnold added scores in the second half.

Goalkeeper Colin Woodhead made 15 saves in the season finale for Dirigo (1-13).

Girls’ soccer

Edward Little 3, Oxford Hills 1

PARIS — Edward Little closed out the regular season with a 3-1 win over Oxford Hills in girls’ soccer action Monday.

Olivia Jensen put the Red Eddies ahead 1-0 with a goal on a set piece 19 minutes into the match. Grace Fontaine and Piper Norcross added second-half goals for EL (8-3-3).

Olivia Swift tallied the Vikings’ (1-13) goal.

EL goalkeeper Taylor Depot finished with 11 saves. Krystin Paine and Emily Blackshaw combined to stop 12 shots for Oxford Hills.

Rangeley 3, Pine Tree 0

RANGELEY — Rangeley scored three first-half goals and then held off Pine Tree Academy in a 3-0 girls’ soccer victory Monday.

Mary Page Sweeney, Olivia Hall and Maxie Gatcomb all had goals for the Lakers (7-4-3), who next play in the postseason.

Rangeley dominated from the start and finished with 15 shots to Pine Tree’s one.

Amber Morrill made one save for the Lakers, while Rachel Stevens had 12 for Pine Tree (1-6-3).
