BERLIN, N.H. — This year’s FrancoFest will be held at St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5 and 6. 

A dinner will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, and a musical performance will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Featured will be homemade French-Canadian cuisine, including baked beans, tourtieres, chicken pie and coleslaw, which will be served in the community room of the arts center. Wine will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $12 per plate. Seating for the dinner will be in 30-minute increments. Attendees should indicate which seating they prefer when purchasing tickets.

Returning to the center to perform on Sunday is singer/songwriter Josee Vachon, who will share the stage with fiddler Daniel Boucher.

Born in Québec and raised in Maine, Vachon has been sharing her Franco-American upbringing for over 25 years through traditional and contemporary folk songs from Québec and Acadia and through her own compositions.

Boucher is a fiddler from Bristol, Connecticut. Growing up in a Québécois musical family, he began to fiddle at age 12, along with his father, Jules.

He stands out as a player because of his technical skill and his complete absorption in Québécois culture. 

Tickets for the performance are $15 for adults and $10 for those younger than 18. They are available in advance at the arts center or online for a small fee, as well as at the door.

General seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts is at 155 Emery St.
