BETHEL — Community Concepts will offer “Hashtagging Bravely with Instagram” from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the GEM Theater, 23 Cross St.

Instagram is a photo-sharing app with which users can upload photos with hashtags, such as #business. When users click on a specific hashtag, photos tagged with that description appear.

This workshop is designed to guide attendees through the basics of the Instagram platform and the technical, tactical and tribe-building strategies necessary to get comfortable posting to Instagram to build a business. It will help attendees build visibility and create authentic engagement with their audiences in a whole new way. Attendees will learn to tell the stories of their businesses through images, text and graphics while gaining more followers every day through the proper use of hashtags.

Instructors are social media specialists Abbie McGilvery and Angie Cole with From the Nest.

The cost is $25 for Chamber of Commerce members and business associations that serve Oxford County, and $30 for nonprofits and businesses that are not Chamber members.
