LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn CA$H Coalition announces that Sue Martin, former chief academic officer for Lewiston public schools, is the coalition’s program coordinator for the 2017 tax season. She will be leading the coalition since KC Geiger’s retirement.
The multi-partner coalition was established by the city of Lewiston in 2003. The coalition provides asset-building assistance to individuals who visit the tax site and strives to inform individuals about tax credits they may not realize they are eligible for. All services are provided free of charge.
As program coordinator, Martin will be at the Lewiston Memorial Armory for 10 weeks starting from the end of January through March 31. The tentative schedule is Mondays, 3 to 6 p.m.; Thursdays, 5 to 8 p.m.; Fridays, 12:30 to 4 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon.
The LA CA$H Coalition is funded through a statewide VITA grant and the J.T. Gorman Foundation.
