SABATTUS — American Legion Harry J. Conway Post 135 will conduct a Blue Star service banner presentation ceremony at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at 40 Island Road.

A reception with refreshments will immediately follow.

The Blue Star represents one family member currently serving on active duty, and a banner can have up to five stars.

Blue Star banners will be presented to a member of the immediate family from Sabattus and surrounding communities not served by local Legion Halls who wish to receive this presentation.

Application forms can be printed from americanlegionpost135.sabattus.net, or can be picked up at the Town Hall or the American Legion. All requests should be postmarked no later than Nov. 7 and sent to Sabattus American Legion, P.O. Box 392, Sabattus, ME 04280
