FARMINGTON — Police are asking for assistance in identifying a man suspected of stealing beer from from a local convenience store Thursday night around 11 p.m.

Sgt. Edward H. Hastings IV described the suspect as a white man of medium build and about 6 feet tall who was wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt and a camo-colored ball cap. 

Hastings said the suspect was riding in a dark-colored, older-style Subaru that had plastic on one of the driver’s-side windows.
