The plaintive and joyous sounds of traditional hasidic and klezmer music are on deck for this week’s Oasis of Music from 12:30-1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Trinity Church. Sruli Dresner, rabbi at Temple Shalom, and his wife, Lisa Mayer, bring their voices, violin, accordion, clarinet, recorders, jew’s harp, banjo and percussion for a very full 30 minutes of story and song. Also appearing with them at the end of their set will be their 7-year-old twins, Johnny and Charly, who will play violin with their parents to conclude the performance. More information on these world-traveling musicians is available at sruliandlisa.com.
