AUBURN — The 10th Comic Showcase will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Cafe LA, 49 Spring St.
Opening the night will be Jack Slattery of Portland. He’s a disc jockey on WMPG and a comic actor with nearly two years of experience.
Mike Hallinan, Danny Jordan and Pat Bolduc, busy local Maine comics, will bring fresh material to the middle of the lineup.
Mike “Ponch” St. Hilaire, originally from Lewiston, will come home from New York City to give a public wedgie to his “little” brother and host Ben Roberts.
He has been performing at venues such as Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s, and the Stand down in New York City. Recently he did shows in some of his favorite third-world countries, Serbia and Croatia.
Closer Tuck Tucker of Portland covers the comic spectrum, not just with his quick-witted humor, but with physical ability. He hasn’t lost a staring contest in over 10 years. His improv has been enjoyed coast to coast, and even Canada. Currently he is sharing his wealth of comic abilities in a Comic Workshop Tuesdays at the Theater Project in Brunswick.
