RUMFORD — On the strength of his hometown, Democrat John Madigan of Rumford edged out Joseph Martin for House District 115. The vote was 1,717 to 1,114.

Roxbury also voted for Madigan, 129-110.

Martin won Sumner, 301-221, and Woodstock, 452-284.

Both candidates were running for the seat held by Democrat Matthew Peterson, who could not run again because of term limits.
