DIXFIELD — State Rep. Richard Pickett, R-Dixfield, will serve another term in House District 116, after defeating challenger and former Rep. Sheryl Briggs, D-Mexico, on Tuesday.
The vote was 2,620 to 2,100.
Pickett carried four of the five towns in the district: Dixfield, 831-439; Peru, 554-397; Canton, 314-206; and Hartford, 455-182.
Briggs won Mexico, 876-466.
