• Nov. 5, 2:45 p.m.: Russell Mitchell, 55, of Rumford was arrested on Waldo Street by Sgt. Doug Maifeld on a charge of domestic violence assault. Mitchell failed to post bail and was taken to the Oxford County Jail in Paris. He is to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 12.

• Nov. 5, 10:20 a.m.: A Spruce Street resident reported tools stolen from his residence. Patrolman Brad Gallant is investigating.

• Nov. 3, 12:25 a.m.: George Britton, 38, of Mexico was arrested on Franklin Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. He is to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 12.

• Oct. 31, 9:43 p.m.: Michael Knox, 42, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Briggs on Franklin Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. Knox will appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 12.

• Oct. 30, 11:54 p.m.: Mohamed Ahmed, 34, of Rumford was arrested on Hartford Street on outstanding warrants and taken to the Oxford County Jail.

• Oct. 30, 7:51 p.m.: Daniel Inglis, 52, of Rumford, was arrested on Prospect Avenue on a charge of operating while under the influence and is to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 12.

• Oct. 29, 6:24 p.m.: John Smith, 26, of Newry was arrested in Bethel on a charge of domestic violence assault related to an incident on Prospect Avenue in Rumford. He was taken to the Oxford County Jail.

• Oct. 28, 6:56 a.m.: A Route 2 business reported a burglary had occurred sometime overnight with an estimated loss of $1,700. Detective George Cayer is investigating.
