LEWISTON — Community forum on pedestrian safety in Lewiston, 5:30 p.m., City Hall, held in response to the death of Jayden Cho-Sargent, 13, who was struck Nov. 3 while crossing Main Street on his way to school, and two other pedestrians who were killed in the past year.
AUBURN — School Committee meeting, 7 p.m., Auburn Hall. Agenda: fall student assessment data, committee goals, strategic plan and planning for a legislator workshop in December.
THURSDAY, Nov. 17
LEWISTON — Great Falls Forum, noon, Lewiston Public Library. Stephanie Kelley-Romano, professor of rhetoric at Bates College, will give a talk titled “Post-Election Reflection: What Happened and Why.” She’ll be joined by students from this fall’s presidential campaign rhetoric class. Free admission.
