RUMFORD — 49 Franklin’s Mystic Theater will be casting interested children ages 3 to 13 to play various roles in its “Christmas Tales” production. Casting will take place at 5:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 21 and 22. Attendees should enter at the upper back parking lot theater entrance. Calling in advance is not necessary.

There is a need for a variety of boys and girls to play parts such as reindeer, elf, the Abominable Snowman, children, angels and shepherds. Experience is not necessary. Most performers will not be required to memorize lines, only actions and facial expressions.

Practices and shows are a two-week commitment. They will take place at 49 Franklin’s Mystic Theater from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 28 and 29, and Dec. 1, 6, 7 and 8.

Dress rehearsals will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 13, 14 and 15.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 16 and 17, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18.
