AUBURN — Trash and recycling will not be collected Thursday, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day. For those citizens who normally have trash and recycling collected on Thursdays, the next trash and recycling collection will be Thursday, Dec. 1.

Trash and recycling can be dropped off at Mid Maine Waste Action Corp., 110 Goldthwaite Road, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

MMWAC will be closed Thanksgiving Day.
