Friday, Nov. 25, The Juke Joint Devils will perform at Guthries in Lewiston. JJD plays an energetic, swinging blues that isn’t heard much these days. It’s a foot-stomping, hip-shaking genre that harkens back to that swampy, riffy, rocky sound people heard in noisy bars. The band features International Blues Challenge finalists Tommy O’Connell on harp and vocals, seen above, Sean Bowman standup bass, Johnny Moran on drums and Stefan Iris on guitar. There is no cover, the show starts at 8 p.m. FMI: call 376-3344.
