LEWISTON — Bill Grant will share Maine adult education news at the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary club meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8.

Grant has worked in adult education since 2006. He became the assistant director of Lewiston Adult Education while working on his master’s degree in educational leadership. In this capacity, Grant helped to implement workforce programming.

In 2013, he became the director of Auburn Adult & Community Education, where he spent three years building academic, workforce and enrichment programs. He has also worked closely with various businesses and local agencies, particularly around implementing the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

In February 2016, Grant became the director of both Lewiston and Auburn’s adult education programs with a focus on enhancing the services offered to the Twin Cities.
