NORWAY — The 2016 Christmastide Choir is gearing up for its 12th annual season/sacred concerts set for 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10 and 11, at the Second Congregational Church UCC, 205 Main St.
The choir will also perform at the Norway Memorial Library Christmas party on Friday, Dec. 9.
The concerts include adult vocal and bell choirs, songs by the Children’s Choir Workshop, and a performance by professional dancer Debi Irons. There will be the traditional manger tableau as well as a visit from a “right jolly old elf.”
Following the concerts, there will be the traditional reception with Christmas goodies and punch.
The show is under the choral direction of Shirli Allen Heald, with piano accompaniment and bell direction by Elaine Emery.
The concert is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets are available to the public at Books N Things on Main Street.
