Friday, Dec. 9, from 8 to 11 p.m., Toby McAllister performs at Pedro O’Hara’s, 34 Main St., Lewiston. McAllister has traveled the world with his band, Sparks The Rescue for almost 10 years, but also plays as a solo act, performing everything from Johnny Cash to Taylor Swift, and incorporates some original material, as well. On Saturday, from 8 to 11 p.m., the acoustic/folk duo of Rippleton Cross performs. From the greater Portland area, Mark Sanborn and Michael T. Barden have played and performed since their teens, and have been members of a number of Maine-based bands representing a wide array of genres. There is no cover charge.
