BRUNSWICK — A Bath woman and a Brunswick man were arrested Friday night, charged with robbing the Big Apple convenience store on Pleasant Street. 

The robbery happened around 9 p.m. Friday night. 

Jacqueline Carpenter-Young, 21, of Bath was arrested after police reviewed surveillance footage and found her on Dunlop Street.

Brunswick police said they received a 911 call at 9:07 p.m. from a store clerk, saying she had just been robbed “by a white female displaying a handgun.”

37-year-old Shawn Cook of Brunswick, the driver, was also arrested on a robbery charge a short time later, police said. 

The vehicle, handgun and an undisclosed amount of money have been recovered. 

Carpenter-Young and Cook are being held at Cumberland County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
