CASCO — A 56-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night on Route 302, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Police were called to the scene near the Naples town line at 6:10 p.m. 

Evidence left at the scene suggests the vehicle was a Volkswagen, but the car had not been found late Sunday night. 

The victim’s name was being withheld until her family had been notified.
