 BLUE HILL — The Bagaduce Music Lending Library’s Feb.10, 2017 deadline for entering its Young Composers’ Competition is fast approaching.  All Maine students high school age and younger who are creative and interested in writing original music have a chance to compete for prize money. Compositions are grouped and judged by age of composer: Group I – age 13 and younger, and Group II – age 14 and older.  Three winners in each age group are awarded $200 for first place, $125 for second place, and $75 for third place.  More details about the competition, guidelines and entry forms can be found on the Music Library’s website, www.bagaducemusic.org.  Click on the “Events” link and then “2017 Young Composers’ Competition and Festival.”   FMI: call  207-374-5454
