RUMFORD — Maine Event Comedy will present 20-year comedy veteran Dennis Fogg at 49 Franklin’s Mystic Theater at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14.
The show will also feature Brian Plumb, Alex Giampapa and host Mark Turcotte.
Fogg’s comedy and restaurant, Uncle Andy’s Diner in South Portland, were featured on an episode of the Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible” last summer. The Portland resident has entertained audiences throughout New England and beyond, and was a finalist in the Funniest Comic on the East Coast Contest.
Plumb’s confrontational style has made him a favorite throughout New England and beyond. The Massachusetts native performed in this year’s Dallas Comedy Festival and is a regular at Comix at Mohegan Sun.
Giampapa was recently featured in The World Series of Comedy and the Haha Comedy Cafe in Los Angeles.
The Mystic Theater is at 49 Franklin St. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased at Bartash’s Cards and Gifts and All That Jazz on Congress Street, or online at 49franklin.com. The show is for ages 18 and older.
