TOPSHAM — Bedderrest Mattresses and Furniture has announced plans to open a new store in the Topsham Fair Mall early in February.

Bedderrest is a locally owned family business celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The new store will specialize in made-in-Maine and made-in-the-USA mattresses and furniture for the home, including indoor and outdoor furniture.

Bedderrest based its decision to open in the mid-coast area on its ever-increasing customer base there. Bedderrest will join two other locally owned businesses, Reny’s and Lamey Wellehan Shoes, in the Topsham Fair Mall.
