LEWISTON — St. Dominic Academy elementary and junior high students joined Catholic Financial Life Chapter N413 in November to raise funds for St. Martin de Porres Residence in Lewiston. The “Great Dime Race” raised $2,000, including a matching donation by Chapter N413.

Through the years, the students and Chapter N413 have donated more than $36,000 to St. Martin de Porres Residence during the Christmas season.

Elaine Trytek’s fourth-graders raised the most money, followed by Patricia Hamilton’s and Theresa Dufour’s classes. Chapter N413 will provide a pizza party for the three classes.
