The city of Lewiston has announced a winter parking ban starting at 11 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, until 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18.

In Auburn, the parking ban begins at midnight Tuesday and will end at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18. 

Starting at 9 p.m. Tuesday, up to 6 inches of snow is anticipated, with only 2 inches expected after 8 a.m. Wednesday. 

Any vehicles parked in violation of the bans will be towed.
