Abstract expressionism artist Donnie Roane is L/A Arts’ current exhibitor in the Art & Ale window at Gritty’s for the month of January. A Lewiston resident, Donnie has been painting since 2001. His work, which is inspired by random thoughts and emotions, has been displayed in the Lewiston-Auburn Artwalk. “Art should be shared,” Roane said. “I’ll start with an idea, and see where the paint wants to go.
