NORWAY — Brenda Kielty, Maine Public Ombudsman from the Attorney General’s Office, Augusta, spoke to guests at Norway Memorial Library, on March 21. In her presentation, she talked about James Madison, the fourth President, who was known as the Father of the Constitution and a proponent of openness of government information. She also talked about her position, the Maine Freedom of Access Act, what information citizens have rights to, and what they do not, as well as fielding questions from the audience.
