The Southern Maine Squadron of Sampson Air Force Training Base will meet at noon Thursday, May 11, at Rolandeau’s restaurant, 715 Washington St., Auburn.This will be the first get together for the coming summer schedule. The veterans that went to Sampson AFB for basic training in the 1950’s and any veterans in that time area are welcome to attend. Prior to the 50’s, Sampson was a Navel training center. The new meeting schedule will be handed out at this meeting for the summer months.
