AUBURN — Maurice (Joe) Dick, 94, of Lewiston, passed away Saturday, May 6, at Clover Manor in Auburn.

He was born in Lisbon on July 23, 1922, the son of the late Charles and Julia (Blanchette) Dick. He attended local schools, graduating from Lewiston High School. Shortly after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps, serving his country during the war. After WWII, he worked flying blueberries and lobster from Newfoundland to Boston and New York. Later in his career, he worked for London Fog until he retired. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Holy Cross Church. He loved playing golf and walking and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Maurice is survived by his sister, Pauline Turmenne; nieces Diane Dion, Connie Slowey and Judy DeWalt; and nephew, Paul Turmenne.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Julia Dick, and his brother, Raymond Dick.
