GARDINER  — The Open Book Players will end their 20th season with their children’s program entitled “Once Upon A Time…” which features well known, and
not-so-well-known fairytales on Saturday, May 20, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at Johnson Hall. 

The seven stories being performed include “The Emperor’s New Suit,” “The Little Red Hen,” “The Three Brothers and the Singing Toad,” “Hansel and Gretel,” “The
Frog Prince,” “Rumpelstiltskin,” and “The Three Little Wolve and the Big
Bad Pig.” The cast includes Dorothy Anne Giroux-Pare (Winslow), Joseph
Lemelin (Chelsea), Ruby Colwell, Lily Matos, Celena Matos (Gardiner),
Rocco Scott (Readfield), Evelyn Henke (Litchfield) Dominic Rainey-Coppedge and Leah Herrick (Sabattus), and range in age from 7 through 13. 

The production is directed by Lucy Rioux and assisted by Cindy Turcotte.  Tickets may be purchased at the door or reserved by calling Johnson Hall at 582-7144 or online at www.johnsonhall.org. General admission is $8; students are $5.
