Gerry Breton points out to Lewiston Police Officer Ray Roberts where a child was allegedly hit by a truck at Birch and Bates streets Wednesday. The boy was not seriously hurt. One witness said the truck struck the child, while another said the boy ran into the side of the truck. The driver left the scene. Police were continuing to investigate the crash later Wednesday.
