HOUMA, La. — Richard Roland Gagnon, 69, passed away Friday, March 31, at 8:10 a.m.

He was a native of Lewiston, born on Nov. 18, 1947, and he was a resident of Houma, La.

Richard worked in oilfield jobs, including as a deckhand on a supply boat, for many years.

He is survived by his sister, Carmen Gagnon Chauff; two brothers, Robert Gagnon of Lewiston and Leo Gagnon of Sabattus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Joseph Gagnon and Yvonne Bouchard Gagnon; and his sister, Jeannine Gagnon Hamptom.
