LEWISTON — Public hearing to examine the criminalization of people with mental illness in Maine, 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., City Hall, sponsored by Maine Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Because of budget cuts, mental health services have been cut, resulting in the prisons and jails housing people who are mentally ill.
