PRESQUE ISLE — A man wanted by police in Presque Isle could be in the Lewiston area, police said Thursday.

Presque Isle police say 40-year-old Michael Brown is wanted by that department on four different charges, including sex assault.

Police said they have received tips that Brown may have headed south, to Lewiston or the Portland area.

Anyone with information on Brown’s whereabouts is asked to call their local police department.
