BETHEL — Norman Beaupre Sr. passed away surrounded by his loved ones in Bethel on Sunday, June 18.

Norman was born on July 7, 1952, in New Brunswick, Canada, to Antoine Beaupre and Theresa Thibeault. Norman was married to his loving wife, Sandra Savage, since 2012.

Norman was a bright, spirited man who was an active member of many different organizations throughout the state including the American Legion, New Auburn Social Club and the Eagles Club. Norman was a member of the Mechanic Falls Fire Department for many years when he worked at C & C Service Station as a mechanic. During the time he served on the Fire Department he received the American Legion Valor medal during a railroad accident mission in 1990. He went on to continue truck driving over the road for many years as he enjoyed meeting new people and going to different places. Norman enjoyed helping out wherever he could and was commonly know by many as a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed taking his wife dancing every Saturday night, attending pool tournaments, and fishing at his favorite place, Wild River in Gilead. He enjoyed traveling to Maryland to visit his nephew Dan whom he considered his best friend. Norman was very active in his grandchildren’s lives. His grandchildren were his pride and joy; he longed to see them and cherished every moment he had with them. No matter how he was feeling, he would light up instantly when visiting and talking about his grandchildren.

Norman is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Beaupre; his eldest daughter, Nicole Beaupre-Haas and her husband, Kenneth Haas; his middle daughter, Jeannine Beaupre; his son, Norman Beaupre Jr. and fiancee, Julie Decato; his youngest daughter, Callie Beaupre, and her fiance, Jared Richards; grandchildren, Charles, Kenneth Jr., Kaylee, Kirstie, Sethe, Brittney, Brandon and Madilyn; great-grandchildren, Alayna and Brody; his siblings, Yvonne Thibeaut, Lena Lepage, Michline Lepage, Phillipe Beaupre, Germaine Beaupre, Patrick Beaupre, Denis Thibeault, Lawrence Thibeault, Marie Thibeault, Line Burnham and Kathy Lebel.

Norman was predeceased by his parents, Antoine Beaupre and Theresa Thibeault; his brother, Leo Beaupre; and his granddaughter, Nachole Beaupre.
