The Pennacook Art Center will be opening a new, early-evening show of art and music at 60 Lowell St., Rumford.  The lobby walls are covered with work by local artists,  some of it is very newly done.
The River Valley Growth Council and Pennacook will host a reception in the Techology Center lobby on Thursday, July 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. to meet the painters, photographers and computer artists. 

There will be light refreshments and browsing music by Justin Hamner. The event is free. 
The exhibit is available for viewing during the center’s regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
