NORWAY — The Friends of Norway Memorial Library will hold its annual used book sale July 6 to 8 at the Norway Grange Hall on 15 Whitman St.

The sale will be from 2 to 6 p.m. July 6 and 7, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 8.

According to a news release, the sale will feature “books of all genres.”

“We received donations of history books this year with several Civil War books,” the release stated. “We have also received donations of book-related collectibles that will be sold by silent auction bid.”

All money raised will go toward The Friends of the Norway Memorial Library and its attempts to purchase additions to its audio and video collection. The money will also support programs and events hosted by the library.

According to its website, The Friends of Norway Memorial Library is a group of volunteers who work with the library board of trustees and the library staff to “support a broad range of social and educational opportunities” and to use “membership fees and fundraising efforts to contribute to the financial support of the library.”
