Marty Elkin spins yard at A Wrinkle in Thyme Farm in Sumner on Sunday morning. The wool is created from scratch, by first shearing the sheep and picking the wool by hand. The wool is then washed, dyed using local plants, carded and spun. Marty participates in several local spinning groups where people get together to spin in a community setting.
