Oxford Casino recently donated $2,500 to support the Oxford Hills Rotary Club’s 31st Annual Lobster & Steak Fest. The donation was used to purchase and donate 100 tickets to local nursing homes and the Maine Veterans Home. Residents will be treated to a meal that includes lobster or steak, steamers, corn on the cob, French fries, watermelon and a beverage. Some residents are able to come to the event, others have the meal brought to them. The festival is from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, Main Street, Paris. For the donation were, from left, Rotary District 7780 Governor Dave Underhill, Oxford Hills Club President Chris Weston, Oxford Casino Vice President and General Manager Jack Sours, and Executive Administrator and Community Relations officer Deedee Allen.
