Arthur Roy of VFW Post 1603, Auburn, was assisted by nine children in placing 150 American flags at senior citizens’ homes in Lewiston in commemoration of Patriot’s Day and 9/11 Remembrance Day, both Sept. 11. Roy is Americanism and youth activities chairman for the post.
