Lewiston police responded to a scene at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center around 3 p.m. Thursday after a patient having a mental breakdown became unruly, according to Auburn Deputy Chief Jason Moen. The patient had to be subdued by hospital staff and an officer. The patient was charged with assault on an emergency care provider, Moen said. (Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal)
