LIVERMORE FALLS — Keith “Bucky” Irving, 52, a resident of Livermore Falls, formerly of North Monmouth, was born June 3, 1965, in Augusta, the son of Richard Irving and Elizabeth (Anderson) Irving. The evening of Wednesday, Oct. 25, Bucky got a long distance phone call, a sort of call you can’t refuse. It was for an appointment from which he wouldn’t be returning. He took the journey home to be with his family and his cat, “Marley.” Bucky passed away unexpectedly Wednesday night at his home in Livermore Falls.
He was a graduate of Monmouth Academy. Buck was a lovable, hardworking, simple-living kind of man. A man who wanted for nothing but to be loved. He had a heart of gold and has an incredible soft spot in his heart for animals. He loved caring for any kind of animal and they loved him back. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and outside activities.
Bucky leaves behind his loving family: his daughter, Jessica Irving of Livermore Falls; two grandchildren; three brothers, Lance Irving of Mount Vernon, Kevin Irving of Augusta and Douglas Irving of Augusta; two sisters, Ronda Irving of Linneus and Cindy Irving from Augusta; and many nieces and nephews. He lived with his best friend, Darrell, who always made sure Buck was taken care of. He has now joined his mother, father, his “sister,” Rose and cat, Marley. The last thing Bucky wanted everyone to know: ”It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.”
